SUP consists of a long board on which you stand and using a single blade paddle can be directed as you wish. The tour includes a short lesson with an instructor assimilating the basics and fully enjoy the experience by quickly learning how to steer the craft and explore the wonders of the Coast of the Gods. Daily Guided Tour
Experience Calabria’s sea caves, cliffs and hidden bays on a stand-up paddleboard on our 2,5 hour adventure tour from Tropea. During the excursion you also have the possibility to go snorkeling and explore the underwater life.
Guided excursions for groups
Tour 1: Port of Tropea – North
Starting from the harbor of Tropea we paddle along the coast and explore the bay of Parghelia with its famous rock “Pizzuta”. An amazing tour to enjoy the fantastic beaches in the surroundings.
Tour 2: Port of Tropea – South
On this trip you will see ‘Santa Maria dell’Isola’, the beautiful sanctuary which was built on a rock Maria dell’Isola from seaside where we stop in a small cave hidden under the rock. Afterwards your SUP adventure continues to the “Grotta Bianca” and the famous Rock of Baia di Riaci.
Tour 3: Baia del Sole – North
Along the rugged coastline you paddle to the remains of an ancient roman port in Formicoli, built about 2000 years ago. Here you have the possibility for snorkeling.
Tour 4: Baia del Sole – South
On this trip we paddle to the pinnacle rock “Vadaro” that rises up from a sandy bed and emerges above the surface for about 3 meters. On your way you will discover hidden beaches and go deep into maritime caves. Enjoy to swim in the clear blue sea.
Tour 5: Blue Bay – North
You can glide along taking your steps over the crystal clear waters of the “Coast of the Gods”. Grotticelle and Praia di Fuoco beaches are some of the most beautiful areas in our region. Enjoy the spectacular steep coast with its rock formations and white sandy beaches where you have time to swim and snorkel.
Tour 6: Blue Bay – South
This tour will take you to the picturesque Santa Maria Beach, passing the fisher men’s statue and arriving at Coccorino. At the bay of Coccorino you’ll receive complementary fresh fruit and drinks before returning to the Blue Bay Resort.

Tours are weather dependent and must be reconfirmed about 1-2 days in advance. If tours are cancelled due to weather conditions, there is no cancellation fee and you can choose an alternative date or get a refund of the amount paid.

Cancellations
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before tour departure. In case of later cancellation, the deposit will not be refunded.
